I have to admit...I
stalk browse other photogs pages and get ideas or just sit in awe at the work they create. If you are a fellow photog...I probably look at your work all the time and it is all so beautiful! I love that each person has their own style...thats how art should be. I hope to gain more experience over the years and really be satisfied and proud of my work. Since I am a beginner...I practice as much as I can and recently I discovered I learned more than Ihave in a long time when it came to photographing the moon.
I just got some new lenses and was anxious to test them out. As always, on my own kiddos! They love it...majority of the time. haha! However I was curious just how well one of the lenses could work. So I decided to try the moon :) With frustration yet...lots of determination, I figured it out...of course with the help of Google (gosh I love me some Google! haha). Certain settings on my camera that I never quite understood...finally made sense. I still have some "hmm, not sure about this exactly" moments but wow, capturing one of the most beautiful things taught me so much. Now, before you peek at my moon pictures...mind you, I dont have a tripod AND it was my first take. Hopefully overtime I can get some really good ones.
Check out those craters! Pretty nifty huh? This was on June 26th...and I am assuming (although I dont know much about the solar system) that this is a half moon.
This was quite the exciting photo session....sometimes I cant stop staring at it...just so cool!
So as we tell our little ones goodnight tonight, show them the moon.....and if you're like me you kiss them and say, "I love you....to the moon and back" :)
