Pigtails & Curls {Mini sessions}

To end the summer, I had a Pigtails and Curls mini session for little girls. I received some beautiful headband pieces to photograph on little girls and to allow Little Lamb Shop to advertise.

Ashley {Senior 2013}

Ashley was my first senior to photograph and OH MY GOSH what fun we had!! She is sooo gorgeous and her southern Georgia accent brought back memories of my hometown. She was a bit nervous but by the time sunset hit, I saw a bubbly fun spirited Ashley that reminded me of myself! Congrats Ashley on graduating in May  2013! Lesa's Halloween Bash

Danika is THREE

While I was pregnant with Nathan, I was on a pregnancy forum where I met lots of other women who were pregnant and due around the same time. It just so happened that Danielle lives close by and we decided to meet up and have a photo session for her daughters 3rd birthday. Oh what a doll she is! So much spunk and personality! Just absolutely adorable! Here is Danika and her precious baby brother, Dylan.

Camryn & Peyton

Amber is one of my greatest friends since junior high. We recently had a little session for her two precious children and we all had a blast. Each one had the opportunity to show and express their favorite things while I snapped away. We even captured memories of them holding their blankets from infancy that mom will treasure for a long time.

These boots were made for walkin' and that's just what they"ll do!

Roman John Godoy

He was my very first session, besides my own children, and so very tiny. I was nervous but more excited than a kid in a candy shop. I couldnt wait to get to the hospital to see this tiny little bundle of joy. My dear friends, Christina and Vincent, from highschool just had their first born son, Roman John Godoy and I had the honor of capturing his first moments here on earth. How precious he is and my my how he has grown some now. This session is from his one month shoot with mom and dad.

It was moms idea to put him in the birdbath. So cute!

Sade graduates from PVAMU

When I first met Sade....I quickly noticed we had the same bubbly fun personality. So needless to say, this session was so much fun! Sade is graduating this August with a degree in social work. How awesome is that?! I am using purple for my color font because that is one of the schools colors...not to mention, the color of her heels she wore during the shoot. OMGoodness I LOVE those heels! Sade wanted a mini shoot but we had too much fun so we went to two locations and spent almost two hours just having fun...she showed off her bubbly spirit and I captured it all!

um, is she not stunning or what?!

This charm is very important to her; given to her as a graduating gift :)

Love is patient...Love is kind...

How beautiful it is to celebrate 15 years of marriage. I was so honored and so excited to capture the love Jason and DeShell share. They have been married since July 19, 1997 and have three children. This year will mark 15 long wonderful years since they married. What a BEAUTIFUL thing! We had so much fun and it was so easy to photograph these two as you can see....their love is so real.

Such a beautiful couple! Congrats Jason and DeShell!

I love you...to the moon and back

I have to admit...I stalk browse other photogs pages and get ideas or just sit in awe at the work they create. If you are a fellow photog...I probably look at your work all the time and it is all so beautiful! I love that each person has their own style...thats how art should be. I hope to gain more experience over the years and really be satisfied and proud of my work. Since I am a beginner...I practice as much as I can and recently I discovered I learned more than Ihave in a long time when it came to photographing the moon.

I just got some new lenses and was anxious to test them out. As always, on my own kiddos! They love it...majority of the time. haha! However I was curious just how well one of the lenses could work. So I decided to try the moon :) With frustration yet...lots of determination, I figured it out...of course with the help of Google (gosh I love me some Google! haha). Certain settings on my camera that I never quite understood...finally made sense. I still have some "hmm, not sure about this exactly" moments but wow, capturing one of the most beautiful things taught me so much. Now, before you peek at my moon pictures...mind you, I dont have a tripod AND it was my first take. Hopefully overtime I can get some really good ones.

Check out those craters! Pretty nifty huh? This was on June 26th...and I am assuming (although I dont know much about the solar system) that this is a half moon.

This was quite the exciting photo session....sometimes I cant stop staring at it...just so cool!

So as we tell our little ones goodnight tonight, show them the moon.....and if you're like me you kiss them and say, "I love you....to the moon and back" :)

Mason Turns 1

This session was fun! It involved a precious soon to be one year old baby boy and a fun cookie monster smash cupcake! His parents are so sweet and his whole family showed up, aunts,cousin, and even grandma! I love his smile especially when he flashes those beautiful new teeth! Happy Birthday Mason!
